Thimphu Deluxe is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment which is used to decrease the impact on our environment and improve the quality of stay with us. Some of these systems implemented are:
1. Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) System
All our rooms and guest areas are temperature controlled to make our guests comfortable regardless of the weather outside.
2. Centralized Water Heating System
In order to reduce electricity consumption and water consumption, our property has a centralized water heating system that supplies all our outlets with hot water on demand. Courtesy of the aforementioned system, the use of individual water boilers (Electrical Geysers) becomes redundant, reducing electricity and water usage.
3. Variable Frequency Drive System
As an effort to reduce electricity consumption by our Centralized Water Heating System and Water Pumps, VFD systems are installed so minimal electricity is consumed.
4. Hydropneumatic system
The advantages of the hydropneumatic system are:
a) Delivers water within a predetermined pressure range so the well pump is not constantly running.
b) Stops a pump from starting up every time there is a slight demand for water from the distribution system.
c) Minimizes the occurrence of pressure surges.
5. Water Treatment Plant
In order to reduce the usage of PET bottles, Thimphu Deluxe has a Water Treatment Plant. Our water is treated, tested and safe for human consumption.
